CSA Share 2014 – Week 8

Week 8 of Deri Farm CSA for 2014

Week 8 of the Deri Farm CSA for 2014. The share includes: cucumbers, zucchini/summer squash, new potatoes, peppers, eggplants, fresh sweet onions, chard, and beans

Week 8 of the 2014 CSA season at Deri Farm included:

  • Choice of cucumbers, zucchini, and/or summer squash – 6 pounds total @ $2 per pound – $12
  • New Potatoes – 2 pounds @ $3 per pound – $6
  • Choice of green peppers (or purple), eggplants, and hot peppers – 1 pound total @ $4 per pound – $4
  • Fresh Sweet Onions – 1 pound @ $2.50 per pound – $2.50
  • Swiss Chard – 1 pound @ $4 per pound – $4
  • Taste of tomatoes (cherry and red slicers) – 1 pound @ $4 per pound – $4
  • PYO beans – pick all you want (delivery got 1 pound) @ $3 – $3

The total whole share value this week is $35.50.  The total value for the 2014 season so far is $242.
